The grammar of the image

When a line moves sideways at a station level, the train is standing. The segment's length is the dwell time.
Where two lines intersect, two trains are scheduled at the same point of the corridor at the same time.
What the chosen day says
The measurements are recalculated for the current corridor, date and filters.
The interactive edition calculates observations from the chosen corridor, date and filters.
Romania by corridor
The catalogue covers main lines, regional branches and cross-border links. Movement counts are recalculated for the selected date.
Epistemic contract
Times, calls, categories, operators and service calendars come from the planned 2025–2026 annual timetable. Calendar exceptions are applied date by date, and trains continuing past midnight are assigned to the calendar day on which they appear in the graph.
The vertical axis does not reproduce official CFR kilometrage. Position is accumulated from the coordinates of scheduled calling points along a railway path inferred from GTFS sequences. The distances are adequate for the visual geometry but must not be treated as technical kilometrage.
156 services marked as replacement buses are excluded. Freight, engineering trains, works, delays and operational positions are absent. Movement between two published calls is linearly interpolated.
